__Let’s take the fight to COVID!
As I told you last week, I’m now 100% working on #OneFightAgainstCorona. But what does that mean exactly? Well, every day that I wake up, I go into my office and start talking to people around the world, working on initiatives aimed at stopping the spread of this disease. I’m mainly focused on actual actions that I can personally implement.
Of late I have been talking to a lot of entrepreneurs around the world who are working on some pretty cool initiatives that offer the promise to stop Corona dead in its tracks. You have to admire some of these guys. Let me share with you two anecdotes:
#My friend Toby:
This guy is a British entrepreneur who built his business empire in #Foods businesses like the supply of fresh fish. I was told he was working on a new type of #Corona Test kit, so I called him:
“I’m a fishmonger!” he laughed, “but this Corona thing has hurt my business. I can’t sell my fish. I’m not going to let that happen! I’m going to fight back. I hear that testing will help us stop this thing!”
I was absolutely blown away by his mindset.
__How many of us are taking that attitude of saying, “I’m not going to sit around and let this thing destroy my business or the company I work for; I’m going to take the fight to #Corona”?
#A Liquid Employee in Kenya, called Andrew:
Andrew is an engineer at Liquid Kenya. When he was sent home, he spent the first few days, “mad as hell that this thing is messing up my life. I was also very scared for my job, my wife and family. Then I decided to fight as a man should!”
This is how he began to explain his efforts to me.
“So what did you do?” I asked, rather intrigued.
“Chairman, we have a presentation to make…” And with that they took me through their presentation. Once again I was blown away.
Andrew worked day and night to create a platform which I will unveil next week. It will enable anyone on this platform, from anywhere in the world, to help policymakers in our #OneFightAgainstCorona!
Everywhere around the world, entrepreneurs and workers are beginning to realize that we are in an existential fight for our businesses and livelihoods. Unless we get rid of this thing, we cannot get back to normal business life.
__And let me make it clear, this fight needs you and me!
By now you should be working from home, as part of the national effort of your country. But if you want to be able to get back to work, then you must not sit, whilst at home!
Next week, I intend to announce at least two game-changing initiatives of my own, and I’m only getting started, my friends. When it comes to fight, I’m an old warrior, and I don’t put my weapon down, until the enemy is under my feet!
To be continued. . .
